Why are answers showing for the wrong student when two students share a computer?

If two students are using the same device and textbook, stored browser data (cookies) can cause one student’s answers to appear for another student.


To fix this, clear the cookies for nicolethemathlady.com.

On Google Chrome

  • Click the lock icon next to the website URL.

  • Select Site Settings.

  • Click Clear Data.

On Safari

  • Go to Safari > Settings (Preferences).

  • Click Privacy.

  • Click Manage Website Data.

  • Select nicolethemathlady.com.

  • Click Remove, then Done.

After clearing cookies:

  • Fully close the browser.

  • Reopen it.

  • Have each student log in separately.

To prevent this issue in the future:

  • Have students use different browsers, or

  • Clear cookies between sessions.
