Which teaching guide should I get for Dimensions Math?

Modified on Mon, 14 Jul at 3:21 PM

Dimensions Math offers two different teaching guides.

The Teacher’s Guide is bright, colorful and filled with visuals that help teachers/parents clearly understand the Singapore Math approach. However, it’s designed for classroom instruction, so the activities are written for large groups of kids. It is also very large which some find it cumbersome.

The Home Instructor’s Guide is made specifically for homeschooling parents and includes ready-made activities suited for that setting. However, it’s black and white, contains less instruction and does not go as deep as the Teacher's Guide.

Some prefer the Home Instructor’s Guide for its smaller size, simplicity and homeschooling approach while others find the more thorough instruction and additional details of the Teacher’s Guide to be a better fit.
