Which parts of the RightStart Math lessons are included in your courses?

Modified on Sun, 7 Jun at 11:27 PM

Most lessons in the RightStart Math textbooks include the following sections:

  • Warmup
  • New Concepts
  • Game
  • Conclusion

Many lessons also include the assignment of a Worksheet.

A RightStart Math course from Nicole the Math Lady will always cover the Warmups, New Concepts, Worksheets and Conclusions.

However, due to the dynamic approach of RightStart Math, the manner in which the sections are covered will vary.

  • Warmup- Usually covered in Online Grading; sometimes in an interactive Lesson Video
  • New Concepts- Always covered in an interactive Lesson Video
  • Worksheets- Sometimes covered in an interactive Lesson Video; sometimes covered in Online Grading
  • Conclusions- Always covered in an interactive Lesson Video

And due to the nature of RightStart Math's games relying on real-time responses, our courses cannot include any coverage of the games. However, our courses do include directions on which game to play with a link to RightStart Math's game instructions.

For most days, the work your student would do in one of our RightStart Math courses will follow this order:

  • Complete the Warmup with our Online Grading
  • Learn the New Concepts with the interactive Lesson Video
  • Play the Game independently when prompted in the Lesson Video
  • Complete the Conclusion section with the interactive Lesson Video
  • Complete any Worksheets as instructed
